NO PURCHASE REQUIRED TO ENTER OR WIN. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR PROHIBITED BY LAW. OPEN TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE UNITED STATES AND ITS TERRITORIES WHO ARE 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER AT THE TIME OF ENTRY.
INTRODUCTION. This INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS "HIGH SCORE" CONTEST (the "Contest") gives participants who play the "Inglourious Basterds" online game (the "IB Game") during any of seven (7) consecutive Game Play Periods (as listed in the grid below) and who enter the Contest during the corresponding Entry Period (as listed in the grid below) the opportunity to win the corresponding grand prize listed in the grid below (each a "Grand Prize"). The Grand Prize for each Entry Period will be awarded to the highest scorer who timely responds to the Grand Prize notification (as described below).The Grand Prize for each Game Play Period may also hereinafter be referred to as the "First Grand Prize", "Second Grand Prize", "Third Grand Prize", Fourth Grand Prize, Fifth Grand Prize, Sixth Grand Prize and Seventh Grand Prize, accordingly. The details of each Grand Prize and how to enter the Contest are contained in these Official Rules.

ELIGIBILITY. Contest is open to residents of the United States and its territories and possessions who are at least eighteen (18) years of age in their territory of residence at time of entry and who have played the Inglourious Basterds online video game located at www.inglouriousbasterdsmusic.com/content/play during a Game Play Period (as described in the grid above), but who have not received any gift or prize from Sponsor within the 60-day period preceding the corresponding Entry Period. Void where prohibited by law. Employees of Sponsor, A Band Apart Films, The Weinstein Company, Universal Pictures and their affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies and their immediate family members (defined as parents, children, siblings, spouse, and life partners) and/or those living in same household of each are not eligible to enter the Contest.
TO ENTER. To enter the Contest, during the Entry Period (as defined below), eligible participants must:
(i) Fill
out all the required fields on the Contest entry form, located at www.inglouriousbasterdsmusic.com/contestrules
including, without limitation, electronically agreeing to the terms of these
Official Rules. Incomplete or inaccurate entry forms are void; and
(ii) Play or have played the IB Game located at http://www.inglouriousbasterdsmusic.com/content/play at any time during the Game Play Period.
By doing the above, entrants will be entered into the Contest and will each qualify as a participant ("Participant").
Any game play conducted outside the Game Play Period will not be eligible for any Grand Prize. In the event of a dispute, all electronic entries will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at time of entry. (Submission of an e-mail address, for purposes of this paragraph, means direct submission of Participant's e-mail address.) The authorized account holder is deemed to be the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses or the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Limit one (1) entry per person and per e-mail address. A potential winner may be requested to provide Sponsor with proof that the potential winner is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the winning entry.
ENTRY PERIOD. Entries will be accepted solely during an applicable Entry Period (as defined in the grid above). Entries received after the Entry Period are disqualified.
USE OF DATA. Sponsor will be collecting personal data about participants (including, without limitation, e-mail addresses) when they enter the Contest. All data will be collected in the United States. By participating in the Contest, entrants hereby agree to that all personal information collected by Sponsor may be used in accordance with and subject to Sponsor's Privacy Policy http://www.warnerbrosrecords.com/privacy.php.
AGREEMENT TO OFFICIAL RULES. Participation in the Contest constitutes entrant's full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules and Sponsor's Privacy Policy (located at http://www.warnerbrosrecords.com/privacy.php) and willingness to be contacted by telephone and/or email. If any provisions of these Official Rules are held to be invalid or unenforceable, all remaining provisions hereof will remain in full force and effect.
SELECTION OF POTENTIAL WINNERS. Grand Prize winners will be determined by the Sponsor based on the game play scores achieved during the Game Play Period as reflected in Sponsor's computer records as of the end of the corresponding Entry Period. In the event of a tie with respect to any Grand Prize, the Game Play Period will automatically be extended for a period of six hours until the tie is broken with respect to the Grand Prize. Determination of the highest scorer will take place within 12 hours after the end of the applicable Entry Period, at which point the top scorer will be identified internally as a potential winner ("Potential Winner"). Potential Winners must satisfy all terms and conditions set forth in these Official Rules and winning is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements.
The Potential Winners will be notified by e-mail and/or telephone within 24 hours after the end of the applicable Entry Period. If a Potential Winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within 6 hours of Sponsor's first attempt to contact such Potential Winner, the next highest scoring Participant will be declared the Potential Winner.
PRIZES. Each Grand Prize is described in the grid in the Introduction section above. Each Grand Prize is subject to the following material conditions and restrictions:
No transfer or substitution of any Grand Prize is permitted. Approximate value of the First Grand Prize is $2,500.00; approximate value of the Second Grand Prize is $75; approximate value of each of the Third Grand Prize, Fourth Grand Prize, Fifth Grand Prize, Sixth Grand Prize and Seventh Grand Prize is $15.
Any required federal, state and local taxes related to any Grand Prize are the sole responsibility of the Winner. All other expenses and costs, not expressly listed above, including but not limited to, meals, taxes, tips, entertainment, transfers, and transportation to airport, to and from home residence, and any other expense or cost, not expressly included above, are the Winner's sole responsibility. Winner of the First Grand Prize must travel on the date designated by Sponsor. Dates of departure and return are subject to change at Sponsor's sole discretion. It is each traveler's responsibility to secure all required travel documents prior to travel (e.g. valid passport and/or visa). In the event the screening is cancelled or postponed for any reason, Sponsor reserves the right to award the remainder of the First Grand Prize with no further obligation to the winner.
In the event Potential Winner cannot travel to Los Angeles to in connection with the First Grand Prize, Potential Winner forfeits the portion of the Grand Prize involving travel and is not entitled to any compensation. No cash or other substitutions are permitted, except by sponsor, who reserves the right to substitute the prize with one of equal or greater value.
Potential Winners may be required to execute and return a Declaration of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release within 24-hours of first attempted notification. Noncompliance within this time period may result in disqualification. Return of any prize notification as undeliverable may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.
CONDITIONS OF WINNING.
Potential Winners of the First Grand Prize must allow their trip to be filmed. Potential Winners of the First Grand Prize understand that the filming may be included and used for any future purposes so desired by Sponsor. Sponsor is the exclusive owner of any filmed material, retaining the rights to exploit such material in any way it chooses. Each Winner warrants and represents that Sponsor shall have no obligation to any third parties with respect to any such filmed material.
GENERAL CONDITIONS. The Contest is governed by the laws of the United States and the State of California and participants in the Contest hereby consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of those laws for any causes or controversies arising out of the Contest. Each participant waives any and all objections to jurisdiction and venue in these courts. All national, federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Void where prohibited.
Except where prohibited by law, Winners grant to Sponsor and its advertising agencies the right to use and publish Winners' photo, proper name, likeness, voice, opinions, biographical information and state in any media to promote Sponsor and the Contest without additional compensation.
By entering, participants release and hold harmless Sponsor and its subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees and agents from any and all liability for any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with the Contest or receipt or use and/or misuse of any Grand Prize, except to the extent that any death or personal injury is caused by the negligence of the Sponsor.
Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify the Contest if fraud or any other factor impairs the integrity of the Contest as determined by Sponsor in Sponsor's sole discretion.
If, in Sponsor's opinion, there is any suspected or actual evidence of electronic or non-electronic tampering with any portion of the Contest, or if technical difficulties compromise the integrity of the Contest, the Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to void any entries at issue (including disqualifying any individual who tampers with the entry process), and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest, in whole or in part, at any time without notice.
Sponsor is not responsible for any incorrect, inaccurate, illegible, incomplete, lost, late, damaged, destroyed, misdirected or unintelligible entries or information, which will be disqualified, or for failed, partial or garbled computer transmissions, whether caused by the website users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of submissions in the Contest for reasons which are beyond the Sponsor's control. Sponsor does not assume responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries for reasons which are beyond the Sponsor's control. Sponsor is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line-systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software or failure of email on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website or combination thereof, including injury or damage to participants or to any other person's computer related to or resulting from participating in the Contest except to the extent that any death or personal injury is caused by the negligence of the Sponsor.
CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY A PARTICIPANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
WINNER LIST. For a copy of the Winner List or Official Rules, send a self addressed stamped envelope to: WARNER BROS. RECORDS INC. 3300 Warner Boulevard, Burbank, CA 91505. Attention: "The Inglourious Basterds Game Contest." All requests must be received by December 31, 2009. Please note on the front left hand corner of your outer envelope that you are requesting the name of the "Winner". Vermont residents may omit return postage if requesting a set of Official Rules.
